Parker McCay is the largest and most experienced nationally recognized bond counsel firm based in southern New Jersey and one of the leading bond counsel firms in New Jersey today. We currently serve as bond counsel to more than 100 governmental entities throughout the state. Transactions for such entities range from general obligation bond issues and lease-purchase transactions for local municipalities, counties and school districts, to revenue and redevelopment financings for local and county utility authorities and county improvement authorities.
The firm has also served in several capacities during our participation in financings for the State of New Jersey (underwriter's counsel), the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (bond counsel), the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency (bond counsel and underwriter's counsel), the New Jersey Health Care Facilities Financing Authority (borrower's counsel, underwriter's counsel and trustee's counsel), the New Jersey Educational Facilities Authority (trustee's counsel and bond counsel), the New Jersey Transportation Trust Fund (trustee's counsel), the South Jersey Port Corporation (general counsel) and the Delaware River and Bay Authority (general counsel). In addition, we have represented some of the nation's largest investment banking firms and other financial institutions in New Jersey transactions.
The par amount of transactions in which we have served as bond counsel have ranged from less than one million dollars ($1,000,000) to in excess of one and a half billion dollars ($1,500,000,000).
