John C. Gillespie Speaks on Class Action Litigation Marlton, NJ, June 24, 2010 - Parker McCay shareholder, John C. Gillespie, was recently a featured speaker at the 60th Annual New Jersey Association of Counties Conference where he delivered a presentation entitled, "The State of Current Class Action Litigation Against Counties in the State of New Jersey."
Mr. Gillespie provided a comprehensive review of the class action certification process, as well as recent class action litigation concerning New Jersey county governments.
Mr. Gillespie is co-chair of Parker McCay's Administrative, State and Local Government Department, and is experienced in all areas of municipal law, including governmental defense litigation, land use and development. He is a Trustee of the New Jersey Institute of Local Government Attorneys and serves as associate counsel to the New Jersey State League of Municipalities.
