Allan Vogelson Receives Devine Award from Camden County Bar Association Marlton, NJ, January 29, 2010 - Parker McCay attorney, Allan Vogelson has been named a recipient of the Camden County Bar Association's 2009 Honorable Peter J. Devine, Jr. Award, the Association's most prestigious honor, in recognition of his distinguished service to the Association and its members. The Honorable Peter J. Devine, Jr. Award is presented annually by the Camden County Bar Association to pay tribute to a member's distinguished service. It was established in 1981 in honor of the popular Judge Devine, Camden County Bar president from 1967 to 1968. Judge Vogelson, Of Counsel, for Parker McCay, served as a presiding judge for the Camden County Superior Court for more than 12 years until his retirement from the bench in 2006. He served as presiding judge of the Camden County Superior Court's Civil Division for eight years, and was subsequently appointed as presiding judge of that Court's Chancery Division, and served in that capacity until his retirement. Prior to his appointment as presiding judge, he served as a judge for Camden County's family and criminal divisions. Judge Vogelson focuses his practice on alternative dispute resolution and complex litigation. He is admitted to the New Jersey bar, the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the U.S. Court of Claims. He is a member of the Camden County, Burlington County, Gloucester County, New Jersey State, and American Bar Associations. He is a resident of Cherry Hill, NJ.
