    Professional Experience:

    Mr. Sheehan focuses his practice in the areas of real estate development and transactions, local government law, redevelopment and environmental issues. For over 20 years, he has represented residential and commercial developers in all aspects of the approval process, including applications to local zoning and planning boards, the Pinelands Commission, the DEP and all other state and local agencies. Projects include large scale subdivisions, mixed-use commercial, office and retail developments.

    Mr. Sheehan has extensive experience representing national telecommunications carriers with applications to expand their networks. He represents carriers with applications for state and local approval. He has litigated issues related to telecommunications networks before the New Jersey courts.

    He represents developers throughout New Jersey with residential developments concentrating on affordable housing issues. Projects include low and moderate income development applications to local planning boards and builder's remedy actions before the Superior Court of New Jersey. He also represents several municipalities with their Mt. Laurel compliance obligations. Projects for municipalities include applications for substantive certification and defense of builder's remedy lawsuits. Mr. Sheehan is presently guiding several municipalities through the process of certification of their Third Round Fair Share Plans.

    Mr. Sheehan represents a national homebuilder with all aspects of its business in Southern New Jersey, including contract preparation, development approvals, due diligence review, environmental review, homeowners associations, DCA registration, and closing transactions.

    Mr. Sheehan has also represented zoning and planning boards and municipalities throughout New Jersey. He has represented boards in Haddon Heights, Moorestown, Cinnaminson, Hainesport, Mansfield, Delanco, and Voorhees at public meetings and in litigation related to appeals from zoning/planning boards, affordable housing issues and challenges to land use ordinances. He has also drafted housing elements, fair share plans and land use ordinances for many municipalities.

    Prior to joining Parker McCay, Mr. Sheehan was associated with Dilworth Paxson LLP.

He is a founder of the Borough's annual "Neighbors Night Out" celebration, which raises money for local charities.
