Professional Experience:Ms. Larmore focuses her practice on representing public school boards of education in all areas affecting their operations, including special education and labor and employment.
Prior to joining Parker McCay, Ms. Larmore served as Legal Counsel for the Trenton Board of Education for 11 years. As a member of the Superintendent's Cabinet and the District's Negotiations Team, Ms. Larmore conducted student disciplinary hearings, served as Hearing Officer for all employee grievances and participated in negotiations for collective bargaining. She represented the District in the Office of Administrative Law (OAL), New Jersey Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs and the New Jersey Division of Civil Rights (DCR). Ms. Larmore has presented a seminar to district staff on the requirements of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. Ms. Larmore also has significant experience for the State of New Jersey as an Assistant Deputy Public Advocate, Director of Legislative and Regulatory Affairs for the Department of the Public Advocate and Assistant Legislative Counsel for the Office of Legislative Services. She has represented clients in complex contract negotiations, compliance and dispute resolution, employment discrimination, special education, and guardianship cases in Superior Court and before administrative agencies.
